Beds are private places and feminine places. They witness scenes of joy, pain, pleasure, eroticism, sickness, passion, infidelity, innocence, birth and death.

Photographing all the beds I sleep in can be seen as an obsession. Sometimes I get excited about traveling just because it will produce photographs of beds. I like to see this process as my way of keeping a diary, my way of making private moments public, my way of exposing fragments of my life, my way of referring to today’s passion for mobility, my way of bringing simple everyday experiences into the art arena.
