Women, Pull Each Other UP!
length readymade abani cloth, felt, embroidery

2020

The ambiguity of the title explains the work. Is it a command? Is it commanding women to take the world into their own hands and join together to protect themselves rather than wait for the state or anyone in this patriarchic system to support them?  Or is it a statement about a natural maternal instinct and a wish for women to follow their positive side rather than  being as society describes them and situations  have required them to be for survival? Or is it just irony and a joke?
