Were seeking a Compliance Support Supervisor to lead a team of 10-15 Analysts within our Customer Experience (CX) Compliance team. This team is responsible for executing compliance controls, including transaction monitoring, KYC, CDD, EDD, and filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR), ensuring adherence to Coinbases BSA/AML program across various jurisdictions. The supervisor will foster a culture of ownership, compliance, and customer focus, supporting team goals and collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to improve quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Compliance Analysts in AML, Fraud Investigations, and EDD;
• Ensure team performance aligns with operational KPIs and quality standards;
• Collaborate with senior management to identify and implement process improvements;
• Communicate effectively to motivate and develop team members;
• Promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement;
• Serve as a subject matter expert in AML compliance;
• Partner with Financial Crimes and second-line compliance teams to execute Coinbases AML program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years in Compliance;
• 2-3+ years supervisory experience;
• Knowledge of financial laws and regulations (e.g., BSA, OFAC, FinCEN);
• Passion for crypto and Web3;
• Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex topics;
• Proficiency with computers and multiple software systems;
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Compliance industry certification (e.g., ACAMS);
• Experience with Google apps, project management, Scrum, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma;
• Familiarity with Coinbase products.

Note: This role requires full-time, in-office presence at our Charlotte location.

Pay Range: $117,385 USD
