Job - Lead CMS Specialist - Drupal Developer Experience: 5+ Years Job Description Duties: Create Percussion and/or Acquia-hosted Drupal Web Content Management System (WCMS) objects, including templates, relationships, communities, work flows, and roles. Document resolutions for future reference. Edit Percussion and/or Acquia-hosted Drupal WCMS objects. Effectively develop in a clean, well-structured, easily maintainable format. Manage multiple Percussion and/or Acquia-hosted Drupal WCMS instances across development, staging, and production. Responsible for publishing sites. Responsible for the full lifecycle development of products created. Translate the clients business requirements into systems design. Work with Lead Web Developer and Lead Web Designer to implement new or edited Web interfaces. Collaborate with system owners, business owners, technical teams, and functional teams to deliver software solutions. Work with the clients organization to establish technology strategy. Collaborate seamlessly with existing staff. Skills Required: Ability to create and edit Percussion and/or Acquia-hosted Drupal WCMS objects. Ability to manage multiple Percussion and/or Acquia-hosted Drupal WCMS instances. Experience architecting and implementing web Percussion and/or Acquia-hosted Drupal CMS/WCMS solutions. Experience working with API Calls; Parsing JSON Data, and Services ( SOAP, REST, etc.). Previous Section 508 compliant development experience. Skills Preferred: Ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies effectively. Ability to plan and manage time and resources. Ability to succeed in a dynamic work environment. Client interface experience. Experience delivering full lifecycle development initiatives. Experience in solution architecture and systems integration. Experience managing iterative or agile software lifecycles. Experience with source and version control with BitBucket. Familiarity with issue tracking software (Jira). Highly developed troubleshooting skills. Prior experience in large, integrated teams. Proven track record to identify project risks and implement mitigation plans. Technical Skills Technologies: ASP.NET 4.0 or above Programming Languages: C# Database Management: MS SQL, Oracle Key Responsibilities Define robust architectures for new applications. Enhance existing applications as per customer requirements. Adjust product architecture as requirements evolve. Identify and articulate new technology and best practices. Develop and maintain technical documentation. Provide estimates on technology solutions delivery. Play a key system integrator and architect role. Manage and perform web application deployments. Perform root cause analysis for production issues. Maintain traceability between requirements, design, and test cases. Meet objectives as assigned and interact with the project team. Manage and supervise a team of Software Developers. Develop and maintain good communication and working relationships. Lead in the development and implementation of new technologies. Lead in testing and evaluating new upgrades. Other activities as determined by the Program Manager. Job Requirements: At least 8 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying web-based applications with ASP.NET 4.0 or above using C#. BS/MS degree in MIS, CS, or a related discipline is required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage competing priorities. Ability to build partnerships with various teams. Ability to communicate well and work in a collaborative team environment. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
