Job Title: Energy Efficiency Consultant

Duration: 6 mo+ contract

Compensation Range: $28-34/hr W2

Job Description:

This position is for a project manager of the new Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Program. The Energy Efficiency Consultant, EV Implementation will lead design, development, marketing, and implementation of the EV Charging Program under the direction of the Manager of Electric Vehicle Implementation. This position is also responsible for all reporting required by state regulators and oversight of all vendors and partner organizations involved in this program. To support program participants, this position will engage with customers/communities, manage program payments, approve program applications, and assist in the process of continuously improving program operations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Oversee delivery and compliance of EV Charging Program across residential, fleet, multifamily, and DCFC sectors
• Engage internal and external stakeholders to optimize EV charging strategies
• Promote program awareness with industry and community partners
• Manage customer applications, program payments, and support process improvement
• Track and report program performance and regulatory compliance
• Develop educational materials and support equitable program access
• Coordinate vendor management and integration with OEMs and DERMS
• Prepare and present program results for internal and external review

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• 3+ years related experience in energy efficiency, project, or program management
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience with reporting and regulatory compliance

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with EVSE, telematics, or DERMS platforms
• Experience in customer education or low-income energy programs
• Background in budget tracking or RFP coordination
