Overview The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online EPPP tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home. Responsibilities Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring for the EPPP, tailoring instruction to individual student needs. Accept on-demand tutoring requests when available. Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. Get matched with students whose needs align with your teaching style and expertise. Use the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features. Handle tutoring sessions through invoicing; Varsity Tutors manages payments. Qualifications Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style. Expertise in EPPP with the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. Compensation and Benefits Base contract rates start at $18/hour; pay can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour for the same student. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time. We handle the logistics—you invoice for sessions, and we process payments.
