About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter for a one week contract paying daily, specializing in surface preparation and coating of large cranes and heavy industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working at heights and with industrial coating systems designed to protect steel structures from corrosion and wear.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare crane surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, grinding, and blasting.
Mix, and apply, various coatings such as epoxy, and urethane, according to manufacturer and project specifications.
Apply coatings using spray, brush, or roller methods to achieve required thickness and finish.
Inspect surfaces and coatings for quality, thickness, and coverage compliance.
Work safely at heights or elevated areas using appropriate fall protection and PPE.
Operate and maintain painting equipment, compressors, and other related tools.
Assist in rigging, masking, and containment setup for paint applications.
Follow safety, environmental, and quality procedures as required by company and site standards.

Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of industrial painting or coating experience (crane, structural steel, or heavy equipment preferred).
Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial coatings, corrosion protection systems, and surface preparation standards (e.g., SSPC, NACE).
Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights, in outdoor conditions, and in physically demanding environments.
