Equiliem is seeking a local contract nurse RN Outpatient Dialysis for a local contract nursing job in Neptune, New Jersey.

Schedule Notes:
11:30 AM - 11:00 PM 3 x 12 Every Other Weekend Required No Holiday Requirement for the 1st 13 weeks. Holiday will required if contract is extended No On-Call Requirement No Float Requirement

 

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.
-Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.
-Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
-Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
-Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
-Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
-Manages care of patients.
-Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
-Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
-BLS - AHA
-NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Required Skills & Experience:
-Minimum of 1 year prior experience working in an outpatient Dialysis center.
-Minimum of 1 year prior experience of ICH Dialysis.
-Knowledge of the Fresenius T Machine and portable RO's required.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-Prior Telemetry and Chronic hemodialysis experience is highly preferred.
-RN must be able to manage 3 patient assignment for put on and take off.
-RN must also have the ability to manage a 9 patient assignment with 2 PCT's for meds and assessment.

Required Years of Experience: 1 year of hemodialysis exp. in OP setting Preferred Years of Experience: 2 years of hemodialysis exp. in OP setting Required Hard Skills: Hemodialysis experience, Fresenius machine preferred but not required Required Soft Skills: Dialysis documentation - Care plans, monthly nursing notes, foot checks, and medication review Scrub Color: Navy Blue
