Farm Harvesters and Packagers

SUMMARY: Responsible for efficient packaging and maintaining product quality during indoor harvesting of vegetables and lettuces.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow proper harvesting techniques and SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Package products with accurate weight and proper labeling.
• Meet daily output standards.
• Assist with transplanting, cleaning systems, and farm equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferred: Similar experience.
• Effective communication skills with supervisors and staff.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Remain stationary for 60% of the time.
• Frequently bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and use cleaning supplies.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Indoor harvesting with exposure to wet/humid conditions, machinery, and chemicals.
• Personal protective equipment required.
