Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior SAP Basis Consultant to lead the BTP implementation migration of legacy applications to SAP S/4HANA leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Basis administration Hosting installation system upgrades and cloud platform integration with hands-on experience in managing BTP subaccounts user administration and secure connectivity.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Basis Leadership:
o Drive architectural decision impact analysis feedback and improvements
o Basis housekeeping activities
o Drive application installation Maintenance for On-premise cloud application. Must have experience SAP RISE
o Perform system upgrades kernel patches and performance tuning.
o Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning for SAP landscapes.
SAP BTP Platform Administration:
o Create and manage SAP BTP subaccounts and configure entitlements.
o Administer SAP BTP destinations for secure backend connectivity.
o Handle user creation and role assignments in SAP BTP.
o Manage SAP BTP transports to move content across subaccounts.
o Configure and maintain SAP Cloud Connector for hybrid connectivity.
o Set up trust configurations and certificate management in BTP.
o Oversee licensing and subscription management for BTP services.
Security & Integration:
o Integrate SAP BTP with Azure Entra ID or OKTA for authentication and SSO.
o Implement secure communication using JWT/SAML tokens.
o Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for seamless integration Java and SAP applications.
o Ensure compliance with security standards in hybrid cloud environments.
Must-Have Skills:
SAP Basis administration (installations upgrades performance tuning).
SAP BTP platform administration (subaccounts entitlements destinations).
Transport management and certificate handling in BTP.
Role-based access control and trust configuration.
SAP Cloud Connector setup and maintenance.
Integration with Azure Entra ID/OKTA and secure connectivity models.
Create play book for BTP service management Compliance periodic review
Nice-to-Have Skills:
SAP BTP Catalog creation and role administration.
SAP BTP Work Zone setup and administration.
SAP BTP Theme design and customization.
SAP BTP ABAP environment setup.
Advanced transport management across subaccounts.
Qualifications:
Experience:
o 8 to 10 years in SAP Basis administration.
o 3 to 5 years in SAP BTP administration and cloud integration.
Certifications (Preferred):
o SAP Certified Technology Associate System Administration (SAP HANA SAP NetWeaver).
o SAP BTP Administrator or related certification.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
