As a Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol in Uvalde, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic retail and mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. You will be expected to respond promptly to incidents, communicate clearly with team members, and utilize technology such as computers or tablets as part of your daily duties. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence.
  • Support loss prevention efforts by remaining alert to potential theft or policy violations within the retail environment.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to address security-related needs and provide a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
