Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple SMT Operators for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Must have 2+ years of experience as an SMT • Operator, with a focus on MyCronic or Universal Fuzion pick and place equipment
• Must have a strong understanding of SMT production processes including component placement, soldering, and inspection
• Must have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on quality, efficiency, and safety
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines
• Must be able to read and write English
• Must pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operate and maintain MyCronic or Universal Fuzion pick and place equipment, including setup and minor troubleshooting
• Perform SMT production tasks including component placement, soldering, and inspection
• Ensure high-quality production by following established procedures and guidelines
• Collaborate with production team to meet production targets and deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and training aptitude
• Machine operator experience is a plus

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
• Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent

WORK HOURS:
• 4/10 work schedule
• 2nd Shift
• Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM EST
• Overtime available on weekends
• Candidates will not be able to transfer to 1st shift
