Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced NICU RN with a current CA license and neonatal certifications for night shift coverage.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the NICU of an acute care hospital
• Neonatal patient population providing specialized intensive care
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week from 18:00 to 6:30
• Every other weekend required
• No floating to other units, but may float between facilities within the state if needed
• No on-call required
• Scrub color is navy blue for RNs
• EMR is Epic; Epic experience is required
• All RTO (requested time off) must be submitted with application and is subject to approval based on facility need
• Must commit to working at least 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Free parking is available for staff
• Returning staff may apply after a 3-month separation period
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a different rate
• Completion of online learning modules is required before start and annually

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active CA RN license in hand; no temporary licenses accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU RN experience required
• Certifications required: BCLS, NRP, and PALS
• Must provide two supervisory references covering at least one year within the past three years in a comparable setting
• First-time travelers are not accepted
