As cities become gentrified, small local businesses disappear. In 2010 Atakan together with the photographer, Mert Şahbaz, made a photograph series by placing SAVE ME stickers on buildings facing demolition in Istanbul. Later, the artist repeated this project in Hamburg. For the show at Imalathane, Atakan asked Bora Gurarda to duplicate this process for buildings at risk in Bursa.
