This organization is a portfolio company of one of the most well-known private equity firms in the world, heavily involved in the REIT space with a strong focus on student housing investments. They’re looking for an individual contributor to lead their AI & Data Science division, working closely with their VP of Data & Engineering to build and scale the function.
Half of your time would be spent hands on coding, and implementing AI agent workflows so it's important you understand AI Agent technology deeply. You'll also be in charge of selecting the AI agents and will need to be comfortable working with and presenting your findings to the key business leaders to prove incremental value to the investors.
This position is structured as a contract-to-hire role, with a likely transition to FTE after 12–18 months. Candidates must be local to Austin, Texas, or able to come into the office 2–3 times per week given the high-interaction model required with business leaders.
