School Nurse (RN) - September Contract
Location: Florence, NJ & Surrounding Areas
Pay Rate: $43/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:20 AM - 2:20 PM
Grade Levels: K-12

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse to serve as a School Nurse for the month of September. You'll work with K-12 students, providing health support, administering medications, and ensuring a safe and healthy school environment.

Position Highlights:

$43/hour
School-day schedule (no nights, weekends, or holidays)

Requirements:

Active New Jersey RN license
Current BLS certification
School nursing or pediatric experience preferred

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong clinical assessment and triage skills
Ability to respond to medical emergencies calmly and effectively
Knowledge of pediatric and adolescent health concerns
Medication administration and documentation accuracy
Clear and compassionate communication with students, parents, and staff
Understanding of immunization requirements and health screenings
Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
Organizational skills for managing daily health office operations
Adaptability to work with K-12 students across various settings
Basic computer skills for electronic health records and reporting
