The Role 

The Talent Buying Assistant will support Peachtree’s Talent Buyers in the booking, planning, and execution of concerts, tours, and festivals. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in the live music industry, offering hands-on experience in artist relations, booking processes, and event administration. The Talent Buying Assistant will collaborate across departments to ensure smooth operations and successful event execution, while helping maintain Peachtree’s reputation as a leading national promoter.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Talent Buyers with booking artists and events across both exclusive and partner venues.
  • Coordinate with venues to secure holds and confirm artist availability.
  • Track and organize contracts, riders, and other booking documents.
  • Support in ticketing tasks such as pricing, on-sale announcements, and accuracy of online listings.
  • Help manage budgets, invoices, and settlements, including scanning and filing show documents.
  • Advance show details with artists, vendors, and venues to ensure smooth on-site execution.
  • Maintain up-to-date internal calendars, booking systems, and show files.
  • Liaise between agents, managers, internal teams, and vendors to ensure timely communication and information sharing.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date booking records, hold grids, contracts, and deal Memos.
  • Input and track booking information in internal databases and shared documents.

What You Bring

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Music Industry, or related field preferred (but not required).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of PRISM a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Passion for live music and knowledge of current industry trends.
