Today those in power motivated by greed eradicate memories and re-write history to fit their own agenda. Several years ago the artist’s family planted a commemorative chestnut tree. This summer those now in power of the planned community, slaughtered this big strong Chestnut tree without leaving a trace. With heavy hearts and tears in their eyes the family grieves another destroyed memory.
