This artwork takes its inspiration from a watercolor painting the artist did in 1984 entitled, Trees Shadowing Village. This work references the past while at the same time asks if we are repeating the past. As more and more trees continue to be uprooted, chopped down, or destroyed to make room for new construction projects, the artist places emphasis on the importance of trees for survival.
