In the early 1900s Selim Sirri Tarcan brought the melody of “Tre Trallande Jäntor”, a Swedish folk song back from Sweden, changed the lyrics and transformed it into a nationalist march called, “Youth March”. As an ironic gesture, Atakan uses both the Swedish and the Turkish versions of the song as Karaoke.
