Everyone in Istanbul, even those who are born there, are strangers. Urban spaces are in a state of flux and change with inhabitants continually moving from here to there. This poem has been installed on gallery floor of Elhamra Gallery,İstanbul , 2000; on the stairs in Contemporary Art Center in Ankara, 2012; on the stairs of Odunpazar Modern Museum, Eskisehir, 2022; and on the stairs of Ağah Uğur’s home in 2024.
