Utopia Workshop
In the summer of 2023 Atakan participated in the “Utopia Workshops” project of Bayburt Baksı Museum, founded by Hüsamettin Koçan in 2010. Scholarships were given to graduate students at universities affected by the earthquake disaster. In her workshop, with 9 students, she rejuvenated an old torn kilim to reflect upon the local environment , its river, plants and hills.
