Rebirth
CARPEL, an art collective bridging London and Istanbul, presented its inaugural exhibition “Chrysalis of Rebirth” in London. This thought-provoking show brought together ten acclaimed artists who explore the concept of rebirth not as a rejection of the past, but as a continuous process of transformation and becoming.
The exhibition features works by Ahu Akgün, Burçak Bingöl, Cemre Yeşil, Erol Eskici, Hilal Polat, Meltem Şahin, Nancy Atakan, Özgül Arslan, Sarah Pickstone, and Seph Li, each offering unique perspectives on how personal, cultural, and societal changes shape our identity and existence. Through diverse media and approaches, the artists delve into the interplay between memory and imagination, destruction and creation. Each piece exists in dialogue with the others, where past and present intertwine to create infinite possibilities for both self and collective exploration.
