Children’s earliest memories begin when they are around four years old. Believing memories should be cherished, the artist asked her granddaughter to relate some of hers. The artist embroidered one of her memories onto a handmade quilt, her mother had given to Cema, her great-granddaughter, at her birth in 2007.
